Context: What is Budgetzen application?

A feature integrated into the Coles app that helps international students track personalized discounts and ethical product deals by analyzing their shopping trends from scanned receipts.
Value: Why was it created?

To help international students save money
To support students practicing ethical, cruelty-free, and vegan lifestyles
To enhance the grocery shopping experience
To reduce the effort of manually searching for discounts during in-store shopping

Mission: How to reach the value?

By tracking students’ shopping habits through scanning receipts
By personalizing discount notifications based on individual shopping trends
By integrating a simple barcode scan at Coles self-checkout to seamlessly connect purchases to Budgetzen’s tracking system.
By delivering inclusive offers aligned with ethical and vegan product

International students aged 23–27 who:

live near campus, who shop 2–3 times a week at Coles Caulfield and
